Mani Thavamani - Pro Trainer
Meet Coach Mani — with over 14 years of hands-on experience in strength and conditioning, Mani helps people move better, feel stronger, and live pain-free, regardless of their age or starting point.
His journey began in 2011, not behind a desk, but on the field. With an athletic background spanning football, athletics, and basketball, Mani quickly realised that raw talent means little without a strong physical foundation. He turned to strength training to develop the power and resilience his sport demanded, and that passion soon evolved into a career in coaching.
Mani went on to spend three years training clients in London before continuing to develop his coaching practice and expertise.
Today, he specialises in strength and conditioning and functional training, with a particular focus on clients aged 40 and above, as well as those recovering from injury or managing mobility limitations. His approach combines targeted strength work with functional movement patterns, helping clients rebuild confidence in their bodies, improve their physical capabilities, and move more freely.
As a competitive athlete himself, Mani brings the same discipline he applies to his own training and nutrition into every programme he designs. Having also owned and operated his own gym, he has a complete, ground-level understanding of what it takes to create sustainable, long-term fitness results.
Whether working with an athlete looking to improve performance or someone who simply wants to become stronger and move through everyday life with greater confidence, Mani's goal remains the same: to build a stronger, more capable body for the long term.
